BRRRRR we are finally getting our cold weather and yes call me crazy but I’m happy about it because this means yes I have an huge excuse to just stay inside and crochet, like I need a good excuse for that hahahaahaha,  You know the website has kinda grown on me, I will be leaving it like it is.  It is colorful, easy to manage and like I said it has grown on me.  I did re do www.blessedelements. com and will be doing something similar at www.hookyarnandneedles.com so it should be fun don’t you think ?  Aww the joys of putting up your own websites, it’s fun.  Actually I don’t think I am doing so bad at it really.  I knew that I wanted to do things online and when I found out how much people charged to put up web pages well I ran like h e double hockey sticks and got the “for dummies” books and have gone from there.  To date my favorite website things have been Wordpress and Drupal.  Wordpress is easy enough but it will take a bit of reading to use Drupal but in the end it is really worth it and not that bad to use really.  Yes it has taken me long enough but you have to remember I do homeschool and whenever I can I do things for our little community, like the haunted house thing.  Ok enough of my babling I need to get off of here and go create something.

WHEW, yes I know some of the colors are clashing but at this point it’s up there right ???  Ok I have about 10 different things going on at once so I am making some progress here, YEAH.  Ok now to go find where I put the patterns that I have for sale that need to go in here………I have lost my mind again, hehehehehe.

I have really been trying my hardest to make the site all cute and fancy and the truth of the matter is, I stink at it so I have decided to go back to what I know, which is HTML, CSS, and Javascript it might not be the ewww WOW factor but I know how to make it work using that.  So in the near future the site will change slightly and this way I can quit stressing out so much because I simply just do not really know how to use these CMS, Wordpress is pretty simple so I will be keeping the blog and Also AAAARRRRRR don’t forget tomorrow Talk Like a Pirate day

OMG getting ready for winter around here is a chore but it must be done PLUS we will be going on a small vacation starting the 19th so hurry hurry hurry and my computer stuff gets put on the back burner.  All the wood is split and stacked, cleaned out the wood stove (it’s our only means of heat) now getting mulch put around all the trees (14 of them) and my 5 rose bushes.  I want to make sure all of it makes it thru the winter and comes back next year so it has to be done

Ok I will try and get things back on track had a few things interrupt but took care of those and now we will have the site back up and running soon.  I am pretty sure I found what I need to upload in order to get all the patterns back up so we will soon see if my guess is correct.  Have not had anytime to really design anything new lately BUT the weather says that a cold front is coming so maybe just maybe I will have design time.

See I forgot how I made the paypal buttons work with joomla, I think I remembered today how I made that happen and will be going to get the little thingy to make it work and then the stuff will all be back up again.  Darn it, this is what happens when you are not that computer savvy and I am not that computer savvy.  I think I know just enough to be very dangerous, I am however an expert at delete and making things disappear…does that count for anything ???? HAHAHA

I am getting things back in order, now I have to go find a joomla download that will allow me to post paypal buttons, which is why the patterns have not been put back up yet but no worries they will be back up soon and I am slowly but surely cleaning up the front page. Not sure if you noticed but I messed up and deleted some things I shouldn’t have so I had to do the WHOLE thing over again, oh well live and learn.

See I was doing several craft shows a year when that really wasn’t my plan or what I wanted to do, but did I think about that ….why NOOOOOO  so when I finally did remove my head from my behind and realized if I do craft shows I really don’t have time to design which is what I really want to do so ding ding ding, the lights finally came on so July 12 & 13 was the last one, I won’t be doing ANY more ever.  So yes you should be seeing this site put back together and new things on it very soon.

I should of had this back up and running but (sigh) I don’t really like to do computer stuff so I have to be “in the mood” which has not happened lately, but it will get there.  Plus to make matters worse, it is summer here and because we have a 90 growing period I have to rush rush rush to plant grass, trees etc. if I want them to make it thru the winter, which I do.
